I completed the Advanced Diploma Program with Mohawk College in Computer Systems Technology – Software Development in December 2022 with Honors. I have gained a great deal of knowledge from the program in Full-Stack Development. Some of the major items that I learned through Mohawk’s program include; web development, desktop development, databases, project management, and machine learning.

Also, I plan to continue my education by receiving a Bachelor of Technology at McMaster University. This will be my next step to strengthen my knowledge to provide a better implementation of features. This program is a part-time evening class. I will be able to work and study at the same time and be able to take the learnings directly from class into the work.

Previously, I worked two co-ops during my time studying at Mohawk College. One of the companies I worked for was HATCH, where I spent two co-op terms (8 months). In that position, I was able to use the skills that I learned to implement features across multiple of their enterprise applications. The feature that I am most proud of is the BOM (Bill of Materials) comparison utility. In that feature, I had to develop a set of tools, both Front-End and Back-End, to compare two versions of a BOM against each other. This was challenging as there was no guarantee that any data (including the keys) would stay the same. In the end, I delivered this full-packed feature that is still used today.
